Independent Classics Reading Assignment
English 10 Honors
Create a Blog for your Independent Reading Assignment in Google Blogger: https://www.blogger.com. You are required to have at least 5 entries in your blog that may be one or a combination of any of the suggestions below. Each entry is due on a Wednesday.
In addition to creating your own blog, you are also required to comment on the blogs of 2 other scholars in your cohort. Comments must be appropriate, respectful and thoughtful. Do not correct grammar or organization. Your teacher will do that. I will assign which blogs you must comment on, but you are free to comment on other blogs in addition to the required 2 that I will give you. These are due on Fridays.
In summary: To receive full credit for this assignment, you will have created 5 quality entries in your own blog (minimum 200 words & include a picture) and written a total of 15 quality comments on the assigned blogs. An example of a quality comment is: “I like how you described Satan’s disdain for his fellow demons. This shows how partners in crime usually turn on each other.” An example of a comment that will not get any credit: “Great job.” An example of a comment that will result in negative credit towards your final grade: “This is lame.”
If you need help outside of class on how to create a blog and edit your entries, click on the Blogger Help button in Settings.
